I look at this as more of a production tool than an actual album one would listen to. Courtesy of Basement Digs (the official Australia and New Zealand arm of Stones Throw) comes this drum album from Tortoise mastermind John McEntire, with Tortoise cohorts John Herndon and Dan Bitney.
This album consists of only percussion. Warmly recorded (much of it is 'in the red') drum jams perfect for chopping and manipulation. If you make Music, definitely check this one out!
