Where are you from?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: I am from Orlando.
I grew up at the Mystery Funhouse,
Circus World and other fun places like that.
But now all of those places are gone and that’s sad.
I always loved it there in Orlando,
but I think it might be slowly turning
into a normal big city now.
It’s not the Orlando I remember.
What is your first Sonic memory?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: Do you mean the first sort of music I heard?
I think you do. I really loved a lot of television themes
—especially Sid & Marty Krofft
and things like that.
I used to tape them and Nintendo songs
and take them to school in my Walkman.
Where does Petunia live now?
Well most of the time I live in my box,
well in Gibsonton and all, but in my box here.
I come out and tell the stories
when Electric Phantom says I have to.
What/who inspires you?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: Oh well I think really a lot of things.
That is a hard one. The Residents are probably the most obvious.
.. but haunted attractions, bronze age horror comics,
strange nature and science, malls, animation, animatronics...
What is the last interesting book that you've read?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: I am not the biggest reader in the world,
although at times I have been..
but the last really neat book I read
was The Green Face (Decadence from Dedalus)
by Gustav Meyrink.
I like older genre fiction
and children's books for the most part.
What are your future plans?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: Well as long as Electric Phantom
allows me to stay
I will be telling my stories.
Do you wish to collaborate with others in the Future?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: Sometimes Electric Phantom says that
Chimney Crow and I have to do something together.. so we do that..
and then also one time they allowed me
to work with Grenwa which was a lot of fun.
If the collaboration makes sense
and is fun then I think I'd be into it..

How are your house plants currently doing?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: Oh they are doing great!
They are pretty hardy, aggressive and greedy!
You have to water them all the time at the ‘right time’
or else they will throw a fit and be
very angry with you.
I guess all and all its worth
having them around,
although it can become so complicated!
What does the future look like?
PETUNIA-LIEBLING: I guess it looks different.
Its always different but very much
is the same n a lot of ways.
I think it maybe more interesting
to think about what will the present
look like in the future?!
