The long awaited BOLDY JAMES full length 'MY FIRST CHEMISTRY SET' (Produced by ALCHEMIST) drops October 15th, courtesy of DECON.
'REFORM SCHOOL' is the second official leak and features the lyrical talents of EARL SWEATSHIRT, DA$H, and DOMO GENESIS.
Judging from this track, and the previous joint 'MOOCHIE', it looks like BOLDY is finally going to deliver a full album worthy of his top-notch mic skills.
I think it was a good decision to go in and have an entirely ALCHEMIST produced album.
It seems to me, that when MC's team up with one producer for an entire release, stronger, more cohesive projects emerge.
Personally, I think the sample-based Boom Bap approach of somebody like ALCHEMIST is a better back drop for Boldy's lyrically prowess and story telling abilities, than run-of-the-mill synthetic trap joints.
