★ORIGINAL BLAXPLOITATION O.S.T.★ ACR0SS 110TH STREET★ O.S.T. ★VINYL RIP★ B0BBY W0MACK + J.J. J0HNSON★

Sometimes it just takes the right sound to trigger a whole cascade of creativity.  I have found one of the best sources for inspiration to be films put out during the 50's, 60's, and 70's.
This is common knowledge now, but believe it or not, when I first started dabbling with sampling in the 90's, lots of cats were sleeping on this.
Mind blowing treasures await those with open ears.  Best of all, these soundtracks are pretty easy to find at most record stores in the bins.

1972's 'Across 110th Street' is a damn fine film with a killer soundtrack.

Already sampled by Ghostface, Tim Dogg, and Quentin Tarantino, this score is no secret.  I happened to come up on it today, and I figured it was a good album to share on this laid back Friday.

Stay elevated.
