R.I.P. Guru.
Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal.
Four years ago we lost one of the great ones.
Guru, known to his mother as Keith Elam, left this mortal coil on April 19, 2010 following his long battle with multiple myeloma.
For those that don't know, Guru is best known as the MC half of masterful Hip Hop duo Gang Starr along with DJ Premier.
Gang Starr were an essential fixture of Hip Hop's Golden Age, releasing 6 albums, including two of the 90's best ('Daily Operation' and 'Hard To Earn').
For those that knew Guru personally or as an Artist, this is a huge loss. Words are not adequate to express how I feel right now, I think it's best to let the Man speak for himself.
